London Live will be broadcasting live from Pride in London this weekend, the annual festival championing the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT+) community in London, culminating with the highly-anticipated Parade on Saturday 27th June. Capturing the spirit and diversity of the event, the programme will include highlights, live action, interviews and performances from the Parade, as presenters Reya El-Salahi and Stefan Levy walk with the floats and musicians, celebrating freedom and equality.
Tune in to the two-hour programme on Saturday afternoon to watch Mayor of London Boris Johnson’s speech, as well as an eclectic line-up of performances from over thirty acts on the main stage in Trafalgar Square, including Remedy, La Voix, London Gay Big Band, The Supreme Fabulettes, and Dorian Reland, the first winner of Pride’s Got Talent (PGT) in 2014. Joining them will be 19-year-old Charley Monroe, winner of PGT 2015, who will be officially crowned in front of a crowd of 10,000 on the day. London Live will also broadcast an exclusive behind-the-scenes interview with Monroe ahead of her live performance – an occasion not to be missed!
