The UK’s leading vintage destination Rokit, will be hosting ‘Unique & Proud’ to mark the beginning of Pride Weekend in partnership with The Albert Kennedy Trust.

Taking place at the Covent Garden, WC2 store, Rokit promises an evening of fun and frivolity via a rousing line- up of exciting cabaret acts, burlesque performances and a vibrant MC to keep guests entertained at all times (along with a few surprises).

Proceeds from the evening will be donated to The Albert Kennedy Trust, a charity providing young LGBT people with accepting and supportive homes, rather than hostile and damaging environments. Rokit will continue to donate 5% of all daily sales from 21st June – 27thth June to The Albert Kennedy trust.

Entry is free on the evening, with a recommended donation of £5 per person to help boost fund raising on the night. Guests will also be in with a chance of winning raffle prizes and goody bags.

Performers confirmed for the evening include:

Sadie Sinner aka The Songbird who will be the MC for the evening, providing further information about the line up, charity and how you can help. “A London-based Singing Compere. Her clients include Hundred Watt Club, Kettners, elite members-only clubs Library London and Phoenix Artist Club, The Grand Connaught Rooms for Miss plus size international, H&M and London’s prestigious venue, The Ivy, most recently for The Interlaw Winter Carnival, hosted by Alan Carr. Other select clients include Madame Jojo’s, Soho’s Green Carnation, Brighton’s The Powder Room @ Club Revenge, Cheeky Devils Club, Miss Odelia’s Opuim Den and FlirtyNotDirty.

Additionally Sadie hosts for her own productions Fever at The Black Cap, Chari-tease (a grand hotel Charity Ball in aid of Stroke Association and sponsored by Park Inn Hotels) and The Royal Tease (Intreprid Fox and Purple Turtle).

Seductive burlesque trio, ‘Barelesque will be performing delightfully wicked dancing from cabaret’s underworld

Lisa Ellipse – Hula Hooper
A multi-talented and award winning performer, Lisa has made a name for herself in the underground and flow arts scene.

Manny Queen
Performer and member of the dance company .2Dot Manny Queen has also worked in film, most recently performing at the Fringe festival.

Jana Envy & Charm Enders
Performers for .2Dot, they are a duo who create dance pieces, site-specific immersive performances and installations, playing on concepts of identity and mystery within the drag queen world.

The Fabulous of Unicorns
A troupe of dancing unicorns based in London. Most recently involved with Morning Glory, they pump positive energy and magic into the London nightlife, and create parties out of nothing. As well as UK-based events, they also work at festivals.

Witches of Odd
‘Founded in 2012 Witches of Odd’s work is multidisciplinary, socially engaged and interactive. Regular contributors at Secret Garden Party Festival, they create and explore worlds in which text, music, visual arts and performance, commingle to cross boundaries.


The evening will be filled with humour and celebrating being unique in a festival vibe complete with glitter, sparkle and a little twist on taboos.
