Why?
Up to 1500 people are expected to head to Clapham’s Prescott Place for this year’s annual street party hosted by the Two Brewers. The bar, which is a favourite amongst the LGBT community, will be pulling out all the stops to make this year’s event, it’s 11th, even more spectacular than in previous years.

A giant stage is being erected to host the twenty two acts that will perform from 1pm through until 9pm. Kicking off the party will be London Gay Big Band followed by some of London’s hottest cabaret acts of the moment, including Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalist La Voix.

Several pop-up bars will serve customers throughout the afternoon and evening including an Absolut vodka bar, a Carling draught bar, a Jäger tap machine and even a Pimms serving bike. Two Brewers’ late night club will open from 9pm providing entertainment, hosted by four different DJs, throughout the night until 4am.

Jimmy Smith said: “Our annual street party is one of the highlights of the summer and follows just a week after Gay Pride in the city. The atmosphere is electric and has a fantastic community feel. This year we are hosting the party solely and have secured some incredible acts to perform so we’re confident we’ll break all time attendance figures.”
