“Beyond, I’ve never had so many boys for breakfast” – Boy George
The legendary after hours clubbing experience ‘Beyond’ has expanded its ever growing portfolio with a digital album to be released through iconic dance music label Ministry of Sound to celebrate their thirteenth anniversary.
The album, due for release on 30th October, will bring listeners a taste of the Beyond experience from the past thirteen years, featuring an eclectic mix of uplifting funk house and tech house with tracks from the likes of Mark Knight and Carl Cox. The album also features the headline track “Touch Me In The Morning” from Abigail Bailey, back on the scene after her 2012 hit “I Just Can’t Get Enough”.
Beyond, which launched in 2002 at Colosseum, Vauxhall, by Craig Elder’s Orange Nation, has transformed from an underground after hours clubbing experience to an internationally renowned brand which has become famous for its exuberance and carnival-esque atmosphere. They now host over thirty events per year in four continents and in 2014 began their own annual festival ‘As One’ with Rita Ora headlining.
Famed for its big shows and theatrical crowd pleasing performances, Beyond is also celebrated for its inclusive atmosphere, appealing to straight and female crowds, and frequently attracts top celebrities including Sam Smith, Rudimental, Billie Piper and Boy George.
Their partnership with Ministry of Sound began in 2014 when the London club became home to Sunday morning Beyond parties and, after consistently drawing crowds of 1000+ music lovers and building up a loyal fan base, an album released on the iconic label was a natural next step.
Craig Elder, founder of Orange Nation said “The compilation is a testament to Beyond’s continued success, dominating the London gay scene and now, in collaboration with the Ministry of Sound. There are very few clubs that stand the test of time. From the very first event, it was a huge success rewriting the London clubbing books.”
Long term fan and frequent attendee and performer at Beyond, Boy George said “Beyond, I’ve never had so many boys for breakfast.”
The album launch party kicks off at 5am on Sunday the 8th November at Ministry of Sound and promises to be Beyond your wildest dreams. The world promo tour follows with special events happening at locations including Paris, Madrid and many more, with the Beyond Album available on iTunes from the 30th October.
