A signed stormtrooper helmet from Star Wars: The Force Awakens, a private screening with Dame Barbara Windsor, and a chance to meet the Pet Shop Boys are among the extraordinary lots on offer at the Terrence Higgins Trust Auction, held at Christie’s Auction House on March 17.
Signed by Harrison Ford and other top stars from the globally celebrated Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the screen-used Stormtrooper helmet will be available in the online auction, open to everyone.
The lovable sexpot who stole the nation’s hearts in the Carry On films, Dame Barbara Windsor, will host a private screening at five star hotel, One Aldwych. English electronic pop duo, Pet Shop Boys will meet with the lucky bidder who scoops tickets to their June gig at the Royal Opera House.
Other lots going under the hammer for the UK’s leading HIV and sexual health charity will include a luxury stay in the romantic city of Venice, a print from critically acclaimed artist Francis Bacon, donated by the Estate of Francis Bacon and a date at Swingers, London’s fabulous new crazy golf club.
Now in its third decade, The Auction will see world renowned artwork, celebrity experiences, and luxury travel raise money to support people living with and at risk of HIV in the UK.
Sonya Trivedy, Fundraising Director at Terrence Higgins Trust, said:
‘The Auction is one of the highlights of our fundraising calendar. Not only does the annual event see high profile artists, companies and celebrities supporting Terrence Higgins Trust, but most importantly raises a huge amount for people living with and affected by HIV.
‘This years catalogue is filled with extraordinary lots, including artwork, experiences and travel, which we’re hoping will delight our supporters and help raise an incredible total.’
